Do You Know Him?

He is the King of the Jews, the King of Righteousness,
The King of the Ages, the King of Heaven, the King of Glory,
The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
I wonder, do you know Him?

David said "The heavens declare the glory of God and the skies proclaim His handiwork"
My King is the only one with no means of measuring or defining His limitless love.
No far-seeing telescope can bring into visibility the coastline of His shoreless supplies.
No barrier can hinder Him from pouring out His blessing.
He is enduringly strong, entirely sincere, and eternally steadfast.
He is immortally grace-full, absolutely powerful, and impartially merciful.
That's my King!

He is God's Son, the sinner's Savior, and the centerpiece of civilization.
He stands alone in Himself.
He is awesome, unique, unparalleled, unprecedented, pre-eminent, and supreme.
He is the loftiest Idea in literature. He is the highest personality in philosophy.
He is the Supreme Problem in higher criticism.
He is the Fundamental Doctrine in all true theology.
He is the cardinal necessity of spiritual religion. He is the Miracle of the Ages.

He is the only one able to supply all of our needs simultaneously.
He gives strength to the weak and encouragement to the downcast.
He is available to the tempted and tried.
He sympathizes and He saves. He guards and He guides.
He heals the sick and He cleanses the lepers.
He forgives sinners and He discharges debtors.
He delivers captives, He defends the feeble.
He blesses the young, He serves the unfortunate.
He regards the aged, He rewards the diligent. He beautifies the meek.
Do you know Him?

My King is the King of knowledge, the Wellspring of Wisdom,
The Doorway of deliverance, the Pathway of Peace,
The Highway of holiness, the Gateway of glory,
The Master of the mighty, the Captain of conquerors,
The Head of Heros, the Leader of legislators,
The Overseer of overcomers, the Governor of governors,
The Prince of princes, King of kings, and Lord of lords. That's my King!
His office is manifold, His promise is sure,
His light is matchless, His goodness is limitless,
His mercy is everlasting, His love never changes.
His Word is enough, His grace is sufficient, His reign is righteous,
His yoke is easy, His burden is light.
I wish I could describe Him to you!

He is indescribable, incomprehensible, invisible, irresistible.
The Heavens of heaven cannot contain Him, let alone explain Him.
You cannot get Him out of your mind. You cannot get Him off your hands.
You cannot outlive Him and you cannot live without Him.
The pharisees couldn't stand Him, but they found they couldn't stop Him.
Pilate couldn't find any fault in Him. Herod couldn't kill Him.
Death couldn't handle Him.
Do you know Him?

He always has been, He always will be.
He had no predecessor, and he has no successor.
There's nobody before him, and there will be nobody after Him.
You cannot impeach Him, and he ain't gonna resign.
His is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever, and ever, and ever, and ever,
And ever, and ever, and ever.
And how long is all that? Forever and ever!
